This month in phonics we will still be working on Unit 1 in Fundations. We will be working on Weeks 7-10. Ask them questions about the characters and setting. Ask them to retell you the story (the plot) in three parts, the beginning, middle, and end.

Students will be looking at some more extreme weather and its causes, and also its effects. We will be also discussing more about how the earth’s surface is affected by the sun.
