Reminders
Please have your child read at least 30 minutes and practice math facts.
Reading
Module 3: Natural Disasters: Students will listen to, read, and view a variety of texts and media that present them with information about natural disasters. Students will focus on central ideas, summarization, and ask and answer questions.
Writing
Writing Module 3– Students will create varied articles on natural disasters based on skills such as text structure and problem and solution.
Math
Topic 5– Use models and Strategies to Divide Whole Numbers- Students will learn the standard procedure for division and understand how it works.
Topic 6– Students will be able to add and subtract fractions with denominators.
Science
Science Unit 2– Modeling Matter-Students will take on the role of food scientists
Social Studies
Social Studies- Unit 1 Geography & Early Societies of the Western Hemisphere
